The Founding Fathers were Libertarians (at least within our borders).

They knew the dangers of capitalism from their experience with the East India Trading Company; which is why corporations were forbidden except under very strict regulations.

Socialism had already been tried and failed in America.

Seeing the multitudes, Yeshua went up into a mountain. Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the teachable, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for their hunger shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful. for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see Yahovah. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of Yahovah.
