Obadiah - The Prophets Bible Study

In John 8:13 and 33; the pharisees said they were never in bondage to any man, but we know that Judah was in bondage in Babylon - so they weren't sons of Judah but sons of Esau since they also said they were sons of Avraham (John 8:39), and Yeshua called them sons of satan (John 8:44). So some number of the Edomites became Jews. The two main groups that escaped the destruction of 70 AD were the believers who heeded Yeshua's prophecy, and the Pharisees, while the rest were killed. It was then the Pharisees that came to define Judaism since they were the only ones left that weren't followers of Yeshua, a significant number of them being Edomites.
